Are they safe?

We got several different brands of foam tipped arrows to test and these were the only ones to pass the test. We cut the foam tip open to see what they had on the inside to ensure the arrow did not push through the foam. These foam tips have a large disc on the inside supported by 'fins' for added strength. Other foam tips had no internal support at all.
